The Predictive heating feature allows the system to learn daily how your home operates on a zone by zone basis over a period of 5 days. After this period, the system will apply that learning to ensure your zones are at your required temperature when you need it. 

The system also takes into account the location of your home and also uses the local weather forecast and local outdoor temperature in addition to the learning.
